Yoga has long had a place in my life as a path to feeling centred in my body, heart and mind. Yoga guides us to be present, soft, and resilient so that compassion and wisdom can flow through our thoughts and actions.

Sasha is also a busy mum of two energetic boys, Remy and Otis, whom are constantly “challenging me and teaching me to be a better person”.

Waveney Eastaugh

Untitlefd Waveney is an all round waterwoman, who ocean swims daily and participates in many open water swimming events such as Rottnest Channel Swims. Waveney also loves to surf, body surf, and Stand Up Paddle board. You will generally find her on or near the ocean, beach running or practicing yoga.

Waveney is a ISA qualified Surf instructor and SUP instructor based in Yallingup, Western Australia where she teaches people to learn to surf and SUP through Yallingup Surf School.

A former elite netballer, and AIS scholarship holder, Waveney learned to surf after she retired from netball at the age of 32.

‘Surfing, along with ocean swimming was always something I was keen to learn properly, however with the commitments of playing netball, it didn’t allow me the time to learn or give it a proper go. Fortunately for me, I met my husband, Damon, after I retired from netball and he was also teaching his young son, Louis to surf. He gave us both the time to learn. We have 2 young energetic children, Ruby and Flynn who are also learning to surf, so surfing is a regular fun activity we do as a family’

‘I believe it is never too late to learn something new’.
