Yoga has long had a place in my life as a path to feeling centred in my body, heart and mind. Yoga guides us to be present, soft, and resilient so that compassion and wisdom can flow through our thoughts and actions.
Sasha is also a busy mum of two energetic boys, Remy and Otis, whom are constantly “challenging me and teaching me to be a better person”.

Waveney is an all round waterwoman, who ocean swims daily and participates in many open water swimming events such as Rottnest Channel Swims. Waveney also loves to surf, body surf, and Stand Up Paddle board. You will generally find her on or near the ocean, beach running or practicing yoga.
Waveney is a ISA qualified Surf instructor and SUP instructor based in Yallingup, Western Australia where she teaches people to learn to surf and SUP through Yallingup Surf School.
A former elite netballer, and AIS scholarship holder, Waveney learned to surf after she retired from netball at the age of 32.
‘Surfing, along with ocean swimming was always something I was keen to learn properly, however with the commitments of playing netball, it didn’t allow me the time to learn or give it a proper go. Fortunately for me, I met my husband, Damon, after I retired from netball and he was also teaching his young son, Louis to surf. He gave us both the time to learn. We have 2 young energetic children, Ruby and Flynn who are also learning to surf, so surfing is a regular fun activity we do as a family’
‘I believe it is never too late to learn something new’.

Lisa began practicing yoga more than 9 years ago and has been teaching for 7. She was first introduced to Ashtanga
yoga by her teacher Robert Lucas, with the intention to overcome serious injuries.
Yoga soon became the platform for many things she valued: maintaining a healthy body and mind; following a healthy diet and living a natural holistic way of life. Inspired by the depth of yoga, Lisa has continued to evolve her practice and teaching through ongoing commitment to studies with world recognised teachers including David Swenson, Dena Kinsberg, Simin Borg Olivier, Donna Farhi and Sharath Jois (Director of the Ashtanga Yoga Research a Institute in Mysore India).
Lisa’s all-rounder approach to life means she is always on the search for balance on all levels. This is often challenging with the demands of family, work and an ingrained desire to make a difference! “I use yoga to tune in, cultivate energy and mindful presence so as to meet life’s circumstances with strength and grace. The ocean is a perfect compliment to tune-out with nature and pay respect to the humbling higher forces”. Riding the wave of life isn’t always easy; yoga shows us the way.
